Formatting and Partitioning

Formatting and partitioning the MV 4105 is required, in order to prepare

the unit for usage.

After the unit is physically connected to your computer, use the following

sections as a guide to locate and execute the appropriate utility to format

and partition the MV 4105.

The MV 4105 is treated, by the host adapter in your computer, as one

large disk drive. Install the appropriate driver for your host adapter.

No additional software or drivers are necessary to use the MV 4105.

Treat the MV 4105 as a normal hard disk drive when partitioning and

formatting.
